Surgery

So they decided to go ahead and do the surgery on my dad as soon as possible. The Oncologist felt the tumor was small enough after just one round of Chemo and Radiation to operate. He met with the surgeon on Wednesday and the date has been set. On May 28th my dad will undergo a 6 hour surgery to remove a portion of his esophagus and then reshape his stomach to replace the missing portion. I'm very nervous for him...he's nervous but feels confident in his surgeon. He is the same surgeon that did his feeding tube a few months ago. Please pray for my dad and the doctors and nurses operating on him later this month. Thank you. I'm trying to figure out how we can get up there to visit with him before because he will most likely be in the hospital for a long time.
